Last year I discovered that email marketing is hands down the most effective means of marketing in the world. In the world? Yes, in the world. If you’re a bit skeptical, as I was, read on.

Historically I had focused on working with affiliates, placing media buys, ppc, and social media campaigns. My thoughts on email marketing was that it was all “spam” and that no one really bought off of email campaigns. Then I met Ronen Hamatian, one of the most prolific email marketers in the world. I changed my mind about email marketing pretty quickly.

Ronen manages the Millionaire Network, a division of Pirannah Media. His group runs email campaigns for several Fortune 500 companies and does a lot in the direct response space. We utilize their service for all of our email campaigns – and gladly choose to work with them exclusively.

The Millionaire Network is comprised of a small group of publishers that each hit enormous volumes. If you run trial offers, expect rebill rates of 60%+, even on ccBill offers. Many of the publishers at the Millionaire Network are the largest email publishers in the world.

If you are looking to hit extremely high numbers, hit them up.

Note: Ronen is a really down to earth guy, but do not bs him. Anyone that’s reading this that’s worked with Ronen knows you have 1 shot. Be straightforward and you’ll land yourself a relationship with the best email marketing group in the world. Throw some non-sense their way and you’ll have to use 3rd parties to work with them in the future

  ccBill has higher cancellation rates which brings down rebill rates – however this is the best processor for continuity billing as they give you unlimitied volume and you have a dedicated call center that is seasoned at your disposal

Email is the new Direct Mail. For years, I marketed offline businesses through direct mail. My company would target neighborhoods based on who built the houses to capitalize on specific service needs of owners that had a certain type of heating system. We ran other advertising too: yellow pages, newspaper, and magazines, but direct mail had the best ROI by far.

Email marketing coupled with good data mining has surpassed direct mail for a number of reasons. First it is far less expensive- no stamps, glossy printing or trips to the post office. Second it can be as frequent or infrequent as you want- with Direct mail you’d blast a series of mailers at once and you were done- until you reloaded the postage meter. Third, you can target as broadly or as narrowly as you wish far faster and easier (although this became easier using direct mail with the advent of list management technologies). Fourth- the ROI is better, or at least it was for my company.

Email marketing became a natural extension of direct mail marketing- look at the success of the Gary Halbert Letter you hipped me to-for years it was a direct mail product!

There are a bunch of other reasons too- but email is the new direct mail.

I love emailing and email marketing! Email markerting to me is a great savings because you are not buying postage, stuffing envelopes or buying the paper to print on. There are no printer fees and no artwork to drop off or pick up. It’s all via email! The last thing you want to use is SNAIL-MAIL when you have a promotion that you just HAVE to get out there!!

Thanks for the recommendation Rich. I’ve discovered how important email marketing is to my business, but need a new company to work with. Millionaire Network sounds like a group I should look into. Trial offers just aren’t cutting it with my current methods.

Rich, I was listening to the webinar with Jeremy again today and he touched on autoresponders set for a specific number of days. I am pretty sure we have a winning system in place, but would you recommend we try Ronan to see if our conversion percentages increase?

  Ronen’s group only sends emails out – they do not monetize traffic. as a heads up they charge a $3k CPM test to start out, and from there they determine the CPA.

Email marketing has been a huge tool for the savvy corporations for a while now. I get emails from my favorite stores because they ask me for my email address when I am checking out. I get special offers and exclusive coupon codes in my email every day. I get advanced updates on the latest clothing lines and invitations to closed door events right in my email.

I must admit that I am receptive to these campaigns because they don’t spam me over and over and over and they make me feel like every email they send will have something unique, exclusive and beneficial for me.

I admit that I will instantly unsubscribe from anyone who sends me constant emails. They begin to feel diluted, unimportant and nothing outside of junk. People like Ronen who can create amazing campaigns with killer conversions are worth their weight in gold.

I’ll take this into consideration. I am starting a business and would love to do direct mail marketing (without the direct mail costs). Email marketing sounds like the way to go! I’m not sure I understand the benefits of Millionaire Network versus another avenue, but I’m willing to check them out anyway. You have me intrigued…

Rich, Have you had success with social media campaigns such as contests, giveaways or PPC? That same email campaign could be used to find followers and fans and promote to them throughout the day, right?

Maybe you could give us a little more information about (and therefore a better understanding of) Millionaire Network.

I would much rather get an email ‘junk mail’ than paper ‘junk mail’ So much paper junk mail is not good on the environment. We will eventually run out of trees! Seriously, though…. email marketing is certainly better on the environment and is without a doubt more cost efficient.

Rich – Thanks for the heads up on Ronen and the Millionair Network. This is certainly a resource I will look into. I currently use a small email marleting firm but think I need a larger company to manage a wider target group for me.

I truely believe a good email marketing campaign is invaluable to anyone that has anything they want to sell online or through a ‘brick and mortar’ shop. It is completely possible to reach your target audience within a matter of minutes. I am so glad a contact in my businessman’s networking group turned me on to this great resource. Here’s a tip: if you’re going to do email marketing, retain the Millionaire Network. And if you’re going to retain the Millionaire Network, get ready to spend some money.
