I have talked about link changes and landing page changes multiple times on my own blog, Ian Fernando [dot] com. In this performance space, CPA changes happens all the time without notifying the affiliate who is pushing high volume to specific offer.

Changes such as and the most popular, offers going down. We have been in this situation multiple times, I know I personally have been. You see a dip in your revenue, being curious you check every aspect of the campaign. Sometimes we do not even click our own links to see what has happened. Your traffic is now going to an offer wall. #fail

Even if the offer goes down for an hour and you are sending high volume, you are at a lost almost immediately. What happens when it goes on for a full day?

As you can see this offer changed multiple times, but essentially you do not know or get notified of these changes. Destination URLs change, amount of images, hoplinks, format of the page etc. The offer even went down, 3rd line up. It took them a day to get the offer back up, but no network or advertiser notifies you of this down time.

They are hoping to get it back up as soon as possible, it took them a day. They don’t realize some affiliates, time is literally money. Imagine sending traffic to a dead page or worst to a page that is totally different from your own LP or ad copy. Conversions will drop.
