Barack Obama shocked the advertising world with his victory today! What are your thoughts on how Obama overcame the enormous outspending by the republicans, as noted in this post? No hold barred, let’s hear it!

Hurricane Sandy wiped out the effect of $100 mill in adspend for republicans final push. The “Black Swan” event gave him free reign over the media in the most critical phase of the journey and my fellow republicans bet on overspending democrats over the last couple of weeks failed bigtime.

If you followed both Obama and Romney on Twitter, you’ll notice a huge difference in copywriting. Obama’s campaign focused more on the benefits for different American demographics. Obama had a better marketing team.

Also, Obama’s poll numbers went up during Sandy because he acted quick.

In the end the hundreds of millions the Koch Bros, Shelden Adelsen, and Karl Rove, Super Pacs spent on advertising became redundant and ineffective. Obama won and overcame that because he ran the most technologically sound presidential campaign ever! What they did with data mining, social media, and demographic targeting was unprecedented in a presidential campaign. Proof positive that the right information, and the right tools can overcome bigger budgets in the right situation….
